On Saturday, October 19, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, Kids Outdoors Otsego (KOO) will be hosting a hike for children and their families. The event is free.
KOO invites children from birth to eight to come down to Irontone Springs Roadside Park with their parents or caregivers. Older siblings welcome too.
Hike leaders will hike and explore around Irontone Springs Roadside Park. Organizers promise to go a kid-sized distance.
Activities are outside; dress for the weather. Hikers are encouraged to bring their water bottles. Families are welcome to come back on their own if they wish.
Irontone Springs Roadside Park is on the east side of Old 27, about 3.5 miles north of Gaylord. It’s about 1/2 mile north of where Old 27 crosses Parmater and Poquette Roads
Organized by ‘Kids Outdoors Otsego’ a local volunteer group that encourages parents and young children to get outdoors in natural settings. For information contact kidsoutdoorsotsego@gmail.com or visit the Kids Outdoors Otsego” group page on Facebook.
